Brothers and Sisters, Friends and Strangers, today we begin a journey that I believe could change not only our relationships but also the witness of the church in this fractured world.
For the next 22 days, we will walk together through the Hebrew alphabet — from Aleph (oneness, beginning) to Tav (completion, the Cross). Each letter becomes a daily guide, pointing us toward a spiritual principle, a communal action, and a reflection question that draw us closer to God and to one another.
This challenge is not just mystical — it is hopeful, restorative, and practical. It’s about repairing broken trust, restoring relationships, and living as a body reconciled by Christ’s love.
Our Vision
Theme: From Aleph to Tav — the journey of a community healed by love and aligned in purpose.
Tone: Hopeful and honest — a call to confess, forgive, and live unity in action.
Flow: Each day gives us a symbol, a Scripture, a practice, a prayer, and a story of unity in action.
The 5 Phases of the Journey
Phase I: Foundations of Unity (Aleph–Hey, Days 1–5)
Rediscovering our shared identity in Christ through confession, forgiveness, shared meals, and declarations of “one body.”
Goal: Tear down the walls of suspicion and individualism.
Phase II: Healing Divides (Vav–Tet, Days 6–9)
Addressing bitterness, gossip, and power struggles with listening circles, acknowledgments of hurt, and prayers of blessing.
Goal: Begin to heal relational fractures inside the body.
Phase III: Walking Together (Yod–Samekh, Days 10–15)
Building trust through shared service — fasting, feeding the poor, working on projects together.
Goal: Replace words with deeds, proving unity by mission.
Phase IV: Bearing Fruit (Ayin–Qof, Days 16–19)
Celebrating diversity as part of God’s design through testimonies, storytelling, and honoring different gifts.
Goal: Move from tolerating difference to cherishing it.
Phase V: Fulfillment in Christ (Resh–Tav, Days 20–22)
Christ as the Alpha and Omega, the one who perfects our unity — through communion, renewing vows, and public recommitments.
Goal: Seal the journey with a covenant of unity in Christ.
Daily Rhythm
Every day, you’ll receive:
Letter Symbol & Reflection — Hebrew letter, meaning, unity principle. Scripture Anchor — John 17, Ephesians 4, Psalm 133, and others. Community Practice — one concrete unity step. Prayer/Declaration — “In Christ, we begin again today as one body.” Story or Testimony — real examples of unity lived out.
Strategy for Clearing Divides
Confession & Forgiveness: We won’t gloss over wrongs — we’ll name them honestly.
Small Acts of Repair: Daily steps matter more than speeches.
Shared Mission: Unity grows when we serve shoulder-to-shoulder.
Public Covenant: At the end, we’ll affirm a Unity Covenant together.
How you Participate
Set aside time each day (alone or with others) to walk the daily rhythm. Practice the community step with someone new. Share your reflections, stories, or photos so we can celebrate together.
This is our moment to step into 5786 — the Year of Connection. Let’s walk Aleph to Tav and let God rebuild us into one body, healed by His love and aligned in His purpose.
