We learned to see with understanding yesterday (Ayin) \u2014 now we learn to speak with wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hebrew letter Pey means mouth, representing the power to create, bless, and build through words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Hebrew design, Pey is formed from three parts: Yod, Kaf, and a hidden Bet (\u05d1) within its shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The letter Bet means house or dwelling \u2014 symbolizing the inner home of our thoughts and motives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visual can teach us a profound truth: our mouths (Pey) are built from what is housed within us (Bet).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every word we speak comes from an inner dwelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the \u201chouse\u201d of the heart is filled with grace, truth, and humility, our speech becomes a wellspring of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if it\u2019s filled with pride, envy, or bitterness, our words expose that too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus expressed the same truth when He said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.\u201d \u2014 Matthew 12:34<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

What fills the heart will always find its way out through the mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why unity can never be built by words alone \u2014 it must be sustained by the inner fruit of the Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When our hearts are healed, our words heal others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When our hearts are whole, our speech brings peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cThe tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.\u201d \u2014 Proverbs 18:21<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cDo not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.\u201d \u2014 Ephesians 4:29<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Community Practice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, bear fruit with your words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speak life into someone who has faced rejection or criticism. Resist the urge to defend or divide \u2014 choose to bless instead. Let your mouth become a \u201chouse of grace,\u201d where truth and love dwell together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask: What kind of house am I speaking from today \u2014 one of peace or one of pride?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer \/ Declaration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLord, cleanse my heart so that my words reflect You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let my mouth become a vessel of Your Spirit \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a house where love, truth, and unity live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May every sentence I speak bear the fruit of peace<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and every word I plant grow into grace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Story<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small church once made a simple change that transformed its culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They created a \u201cSpeak Life Table\u201d \u2014 a space in their fellowship hall where anyone could write short notes of encouragement, gratitude, or prayer for others in the congregation. Each Sunday, the table filled with handwritten reminders of kindness: \u201cYou prayed for me last year, and God answered.\u201d \u201cI saw you serve quietly when no one else noticed.\u201d \u201cYou\u2019ve made this church feel like home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, something extraordinary happened. The tone of conversation shifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gossip lost its place. Complaining dried up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The language of life became the rhythm of the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s the spirit of Pey \u2014 a community whose mouth speaks from a healed and thankful heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the Church becoming fluent in the language of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insight<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pey continues the Bearing Fruit phase of the Unity Journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After seeing rightly through Ayin, we now speak rightly through Pey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our words are the harvest of our hearts \u2014 they reveal what\u2019s been growing within us all along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we speak life, we don\u2019t just change the atmosphere \u2014 we change each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when the Church learns to speak like Christ, the world begins to listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
