Obedience Matters More Than Outcome<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There have been choices I made in faith that didn\u2019t immediately \u201cwork.\u201d The results weren\u2019t impressive. The applause never came. Sometimes things even got harder before they got better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But faith shifts your focus from results to responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding\u201d (Proverbs 3:5\u20136). That doesn\u2019t promise instant clarity. It promises guidance when we surrender control.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n When faith shapes your decisions, you stop asking, \u201cWill this succeed?\u201d and start asking, \u201cIs this aligned?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Success may be temporary; obedience develops endurance and deepens character\u2014and that is what remains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Fear Sounds Loud\u2014Faith Speaks Steady<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Fear often shows up sounding practical. It lists risks. It rehearses worst-case scenarios. It protects comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Faith doesn\u2019t deny reality\u2014but it reframes it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFor God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind\u201d (2 Timothy 1:7).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n When faith leads, you don\u2019t pretend challenges don\u2019t exist. You simply refuse to let fear be the decision-maker. You act with wisdom\u2014but anchored in trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. You Cannot Please Everyone and Please God at the Same Time<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This lesson took time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There were moments I made choices to avoid disappointing people. To maintain image. To keep peace externally, even when something felt unsettled internally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But faith reshapes your priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAm I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?\u201d (Galatians 1:10).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n When faith shapes your choices, you accept that obedience sometimes looks misunderstood. You grow comfortable with being aligned rather than applauded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Small Faithful Decisions Shape Big Outcomes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The most transformative decisions in my life were not dramatic. They were quiet. Consistent.
